Letters to Jupiter

This debut poetry collection Letters to Jupiter, by Lotté Jean, covers a wide range of subjects. I enjoyed the growth that the poems demonstrate, although not all of them rang true for me. Some of the symbolism is really interesting and contemplative—acid tears, blooming buds, and the moon included.

One of my favourites was this:

ONE MILLION
i felt like an impossibility
of all the world's creations
why did i exist
to leave nothing
but a bruise on society
but a world without
differences
is one that isn't human.

Overall, this is a short but delightful poetry collection.

Thank you to the author Lotté Jean for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
